Tilbury Douglas has had another great year with multiple award wins. We’ve done a roundup of our achievements in 2025.

- We won the Breadth and Balance Award (Large Employer)

- Our Derriford LINAC project was shortlisted

- Craig Tatton received a Special Recognition Award

CN Workforce Awards
- Haydetou Gandega-Soumare won the Apprentice of the Year Award
Learning Places Scotland Awards
- Kirkliston Primary School won the Innovation in Delivering a Sustainable Learning Space Award

G4C Yorkshire and Humber Awards
- Jay Jenkins won the Trade Apprentice of the Year Award
British Construction and Infrastructure Awards
- Cultural & Leisure Project Award for our Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo project
- Net Zero Carbon Impact Award for our St Mary’s Biophilic School project alongside our supply chain partner, Innovare
- Highly commended in the Social Infrastructure category for our Stepping Hill Hospital project
CIOB Awards Scotland
- Tom Lacey was named Graduate of the Year
Education Estates Awards
- St Mary’s Catholic Voluntary Academy awarded the Judges’ Special Recognition Award
G4C Wales Awards
- Curtis Richards was named Apprentice of the Year
Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humber Awards
- We won in the following categories:
  - People and Culture
  - Retrofit – Caedmon Hall
  - BESA Industry Awards
  - Our Warringtonfire project won the Project of the Year (Net Zero) Award

Education Estates Awards
- We were shortlisted in the following categories:
  - Pupil / Student Experience: Garden Mills
  - Project of the Year – Colleges: Garden Mills
  - Inspiring Learning Spaces: St Mary’s Catholic Voluntary Academy
  - Refurbishment: Caedmon Hall
  - Sustainability: Prospect House Specialist Support Primary School

Constructing Excellence North West Regional Construction Awards
- Our project for Warringtonfire was successful in three categories:
  - Integration and Collaborative Working – recognising the benefits of using our integrated working model (IWM)
  - Innovation Award
  - Project of the Year for the Cheshire, Warrington and Wirral sub region
- We also won the 2025 People and Culture Award for our Better Together networks
Insider Yorkshire Property Awards
- Our restoration of the Garden Mills building for Bradford College was shortlisted for Refurbishment of the Year

Constructing Excellence Wales Awards
- Prince Charles Hospital won the Retrofit Project of the Year Award
Design in Mental Health Awards
- Knowl Park House was highly commended in the Project of the Year (New Build) UK category
Constructing Excellence Yorkshire & Humber Awards
- We were shortlisted in the following categories:
  - Project of the Year – Garden Mills
  - Project of the Year – Knowl Park House
  - People and Culture
  - Regeneration and Conservation – Caedmon Hall

Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Awards
- Lucy Bansal, Regional Social Value Manager for the North, and Louise Clark, Business Development Manager for Scotland, were shortlisted
Scottish Design Awards
- Kirkliston Primary School, Early Learning and Childcare Centre was shortlisted in the Education category

RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) East Midlands Awards
- St Mary’s Catholic Voluntary Academy
- RIBA East Midlands Award 2025
- Project Architect of the Year, awarded to David Brook of Hawkins\Brown
- Sustainability Award, sponsored by Autodesk
Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Awards
- We received a Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Patron’s Award, making it 25 and 24 years of consecutive Gold Awards, for our construction business and engineering business, respectively

Construction News Awards
- Shortlisted in Project of the Year (£20m – £50m) category for two of our projects:
  - Durham Investigative Hub
  - Warringtonfire: Fire testing laboratory
Constructing Excellence North East Awards
- We were shortlisted in the following categories: People and Culture and Project of the Year for the Durham Investigative Hub
G4C North East Constructing Excellence Awards
- Sonny Richardson (Apprentice Quantity Surveyor – North East) and Isaac Stephenson (Apprentice Engineer – North East) were shortlisted for the Technical Apprentice of the Year award
