At Tilbury Douglas we recognise the transferable skills and qualifications gained whilst in military service and are working in collaboration with the Careers Transition Partnership to support Armed Forces leavers in securing their next civilian job.
We aim to foster a diverse and inclusive workforce and want to grow and stand out as a Forces Friendly employer by supporting the recruitment, growth and retention of talent from the military community. We have lots of opportunities on offer!
The wide variety of roles and projects brings many opportunities for you to progress. We have locations nationwide working on projects in our Infrastructure, Engineering and Regional Building business units.
We also have a great benefits package including competitive salaries, an attractive pension, private medical insurance, generous holiday entitlement, enhanced maternity, paternity and parental leave and a range of other services and lifestyle flexible benefits on offer.
Why the construction industry?
The construction industry is constantly evolving, as client expectations grow, projects become more complex, and technology improves. We continuously explore more innovative ways to design, build and deliver, which creates opportunities for new employees with fresh ideas and methods.
Together we’re working on creating and delivering projects you can look back on and feel accomplished for completing together.
You’ve already gained the key skills we look for – leadership, teamwork, strategic thinking, problem solving, resilience, working under pressure and great working attitude. We’re positive we’ll have a role that matches your skills and experience, so please take a look at our vacancies listed below.
By pursuing a career in construction, you’ll be making a big difference to your local community and even further afield. The opportunities construction can bring are well suited to those within the Armed Forces community who want to bring their skills into a new, challenging environment, and we look forward to hearing from you!
