The Scheme Delivery Framework is a six year, 12-Lot National framework, that commenced in September 2021.
It enables the delivery of renewals across a range of activities, including substantial civils work on highways, structures and drainage. It consists of specialist providers taking briefs from National Highways, producing designs and delivering construction works, including renewal and improvement schemes and emergency repair.
We have a position on both Lot 1.2 (North East) General Civils and Lot 4 (South East) Drainage, carrying out small capital and maintenance works with a combined value of £10m to £14m per annum.
Lot 1.2 (North East) General Civils covers the supply of materials, plant and labour to carry out construction and removal activities, for schemes including highway drainage assets, pipes, ditches, swales, ponds, the control and disposal of contaminated material, the installation of traffic signs and posts, non-illuminated traffic signs and posts, earthworks, ducting, kerbing, footways, modular paving, site clearance, brick, block and stonework, piling, temporary works required to ensure a safe method of working, demolition, concrete including repair works, asbestos removal (planned) and, earthwork stabilisation.
Lot 4 (South East) Drainage covers the supply of materials, plant and labour to carry out construction, commissioning and removal of drainage and manhole/catch pits, renewal or recycling of filter drain material, renewal and repair of pipes and pipe lining, renewal of ditches, swales, ponds and any other vegetative treatment systems, control and disposal of contaminated material, installation, commissioning and removal and renewal of flow control equipment, and, the installation, commissioning and removal and renewal of any other drainage ancillary items including petrol interceptors and pumping station equipment.
