The Southern Construction Framework (SCF), is a fifth generation framework in the South of England. A joint venture between Devon County Council, Hampshire County Council, and Haringey Council.
The SCF framework allows public bodies from London, the South East and South West to procure construction projects worth over £1m with pre-checked and verified companies.
Over the past 14 years it has delivered over £8 billion worth of combined construction schemes, establishing it as a leading procurement framework. The framework is modelled on ‘Two Stage Open book’ procurement, which makes the procurement process as effective as it can be through early engagement and collaborative working. As a framework contractor we help users improve the predictability of project cost, time and quality performance. The SCF spans all sectors and has helped deliver on average 10% added value on every project, making your investments go further.
Framework resources
The SCF has produced a number of useful resources to provide end users with framework selection and market intelligence. They have also developed a number of tools to support the delivery of biodiversity net gains and carbon reduction. These are available on their website.
