YORhub offers a suite of building, civil engineering and consultancy frameworks. Each category is managed by a Framework Programme Manager, with a team of Framework Managers from across five contracting authorities within Yorkshire and the Humber. The frameworks have continued to grow over the past decade and continue to deliver their core values of economic regeneration, efficiency, employment and skills, supply chain engagement and sustainability.
YORhub also operate a Supply Chain Engagement Programme (SCEP) to help businesses interested in supplying construction services or goods to our framework contractors. SCEP members have exclusive access to details of upcoming framework contract opportunities. Members are automatically notified of opportunities matching their preferred work type and location criteria. The SCEP also hosts Meet the Buyer events supported by our framework contractors.
YORcivil2 and YORcivil Major Works
YORcivil2, and Major Works, helps local authorities and other public and third sector organisations in Yorkshire predominantly, and Derbyshire, procure high-quality civil engineering services.
The frameworks consist of two sub-regional frameworks, each with separate lots that deal with different types or values of work. The sub-regional frameworks are split into two geographic regions – North & West and South & East – and forms part of an integrated service designed to add value throughout a project lifetime from the procurement, through delivery, to its end-use.
YORcivil2 delivers a wide range of civil engineering works, some building works, and includes for works by contractors’ design such as our Hessle Foreshore Scheme which incorporated reinforced Glass Panels and CCTV contractors’ designs.
The framework is due to be replaced by YORcivil3 from September 2024. It’s open to any public sector organisation in the region too.
The framework is used in a variety of sectors including local authority, general public services, public order and safety, environment, economic and financial affairs (e.g., regeneration), health, housing and community amenities, social protection, education and recreation, culture and religion.
We are currently delivering ECI phase of Holmfirth Town Centre and are processing the final design of Scarborough Station Gateway.
YOR4Good
YOR4Good supports economic regeneration within the framework regions. It’s funded by donations of cash or benefits in kind from contractors and consultants when they’re awarded projects through the frameworks. Providing grants of up to £10,000 to community groups to support local economic regeneration projects. Projects can also be initiated directly by contractors local to the area in which they are working while they are on site.
