Tilbury Douglas appointed to lead construction of Pershore High School
Tilbury Douglas, a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering and fit-out business, has been appointed to lead the construction of Pershore High School, located in Worcestershire, on behalf of the Department for Education.
The scheme includes partial demolition of the existing site, as well as the construction of a new facility and refurbishment works, allowing increased pupil numbers, consolidated curriculum zones and improved teaching facilities.
Designed to achieve net zero carbon in operation, the facility will also feature new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) suites, science studios, a staff room, dining area, 3D art room, activity studio, drama studio and changing facilities.
David Tighe, Regional Director – West Midlands at Tilbury Douglas, commented: “We are proud to be leading the construction of Pershore High School on behalf of the Department for Education. This project will not only provide high-quality learning spaces but also reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering sustainable, net zero carbon buildings that enhance local communities. We look forward to working closely with all partners to create a modern, inspiring environment for students and staff alike.”
