Tilbury Douglas becomes a Platinum member of The 5% Club
Tilbury Douglas, a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering and fit-out business, has become an elite Platinum member of The 5% Club.

The 5% Club is focused on creating momentum behind the recruitment of apprentices and graduates into the workforce, as well as utilising workplace learning schemes to maximise the potential within existing employees. This means that 5% Club members strive to achieve at least 5% of their workforce on apprenticeships, as sponsored students and/or graduates on formalised training schemes within five years of joining.
Sarah McCallion, HR Director at Tilbury Douglas, commented: “We are honoured to be recognised as one of The 5% Club’s elite Platinum members, as this further highlights our commitment to our apprenticeship, graduate and other “earn and learn” programmes. This accolade places us among the UK’s leaders in workforce development, showcasing our passion for creating learning environments where every colleague can succeed.”
Mark Cameron OBE, Chief Executive at The 5% Club, said: “We are incredibly proud of the outstanding employers, like Tilbury Douglas, who continue to raise the bar for workplace learning. Their dedication to creating rich and varied ‘earn and learn’ opportunities sets a remarkable example. By achieving Platinum membership, Tilbury Douglas has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to investing in people – shaping the skills of tomorrow and driving lasting impact for both business and society.”
