Tilbury Douglas leads time capsule burial at its Sandilands Community Primary School Project with local students
Following the successful sectional completion of the redevelopment of Sandilands Community Primary School in Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester, Tilbury Douglas, a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering and fit-out business, has led the burial of a time capsule with the school’s students.
The team brought together two students from each year group to bury the capsule which contained items such as a school prospectus, letters written by year six pupils, a copy of the plans for the new school and photos of the old school.
Tilbury Douglas has now commenced the second phase of the scheme, which was procured by the Department for Education. The first phase involved the construction of a new two-storey building, whilst this second phase involves the demolition of the existing school and completion of associated landscaping works.
