Tilbury Douglas marks steel signing milestone at new Beckett Primary School
Tilbury Douglas, a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering and fit-out business, has celebrated a major milestone in the delivery of the new Beckett Primary School by hosting a steel signing ceremony with some of the school’s students.
The scheme, based in Derby, is being delivered on behalf of the Department for Education, and comprises a new build two-storey primary school, including demolition of the existing school, and a small amount of refurbishment works.
Chris Loach, Regional Director – East Midlands at Tilbury Douglas, commented: “It was great to mark such an important milestone of this project with some of the school’s students, who will be able to utilise the new state-of-the-art facilities, along with the wider school community, once delivered.”
