Tilbury Douglas named as a Disability Confident Committed Employer
Tilbury Douglas has successfully been named as a Disability Confident Committed Employer by the government’s employer scheme.
This recognition highlights the company’s commitment to ensuring its recruitment processes are inclusive and accessible and that it anticipates & provides reasonable adjustments as required for employees. It also shows its support for any existing employee who acquires a disability or long-term health condition, enabling them to stay in work.
This accomplishment has been driven by the business’ Better Together strategy, which encompasses all its diversity and inclusion initiatives. Recent successes include conditional review against the Investors in Diversity Standard, as well as enhancing maternity and paternity leave policies and introducing a menopause policy.
