Tilbury Douglas partners with pregnancy loss charity, CRADLE, for its third year
Tilbury Douglas, a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering and fit-out business, is proud to continue its partnership with CRADLE for its third year.
CRADLE provides essential support and resources to NHS staff, guiding patients and families through the devastating experience of losing a baby through pregnancy or following a termination.
The ground-breaking partnership, which was a construction industry first, has already made a profound impact, including supporting more than 6,000 patients in its first two years and helping to launch CRADLE dedicated pregnancy loss services in Wales.
CRADLE’s aim is to prevent feelings of isolation and loneliness following a pregnancy loss or termination of pregnancy, and to provide the NHS Estates teams with advice in relation to design standards for bereavement environments across the Health Estate. It also donates CRADLE Comfort Bags to NHS hospitals, which are filled with essential toiletries and are available to those receiving care in hospital during or following pregnancy loss.
Lucy Davies, Social Value and Sustainability Director at Tilbury Douglas, expressed her pride in the ongoing collaboration: “We are truly honoured to continue our partnership with CRADLE, a charity that has already accomplished so much. As one of the UK’s leading healthcare contractors, and with CRADLE actively supporting several NHS trusts, we’re able to help provide this vital care to families and communities in need. This partnership is not just a commitment – it’s a shared mission to offer compassion, support, and hope during the most difficult times.”
