Tilbury Douglas secures place on Yorkshire Water’s Complex Non-Infrastructure Framework
Tilbury Douglas, a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering, and fit-out business, has successfully secured a place on Yorkshire Water’s Non-Infrastructure Framework (Lot 1 Complex), further strengthening its ongoing partnership with the water company.
Working collaboratively, the five-year framework aims to deliver the AMP8 capital investment programme, Yorkshire Water’s largest ever environmental investment programme to date, with the aim of providing the best value for its customers in these challenging times.
The works comprise of new build, renewal repair, refurbishment, or like-for-like replacement of civil structures, and mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation (MEICA) equipment, associated with Yorkshire Water’s assets typically within its operational treatment sites. This includes wastewater, raw water or potable water facilities.
Andrew Bull, Managing Director – Infrastructure at Tilbury Douglas, said: “We are proud to have secured a place on the latest Framework, as we have a strong track record of delivering high quality infrastructure schemes across the region with Yorkshire Water and look forward to collaborating with our supply chain partners to continue to do so.”
Rachael Fox, head of programme delivery at Yorkshire Water, said: “We’re looking forward to working with our chosen partners as we embark on an ambitious investment programme from 2025. There’s a big challenge ahead – not only to meet new regulatory requirements, but to meet customer expectations too – and effective collaboration will be key to our success.”
The framework ethos focuses on how projects are delivered, not just what is delivered, with key factors being affordability, low carbon, budget and design optimisation, innovation and sustainability including off-site build, standardisation and workforce upskilling, and safer, more maintainable assets.
The other partners joining the framework include Kier, Galliford Try, Barhale, Glanua, Ward & Burke, and MMB.
