Tilbury Douglas signs the Armed Forces Covenant
Tilbury Douglas, a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering, and fit-out business, has signed the Armed Forces Covenant, which is a promise to support those who have served and their families.
Organisations choose to sign the pledge in order to demonstrate their support for the Armed Forces community and for the principles of the Covenant.
Craig Tatton, Chief Executive Officer at Tilbury Douglas, commented: “We’re delighted that we have signed the Armed Forces Covenant. It’s a pledge from us that we acknowledge and understand that those who serve, or have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the country they dedicated their lives to protect.
Our veterans are important to us and at Tilbury Douglas we recognise the value of partnering with the armed forces community and their personnel. We have the right culture, development plans and strategy in place to support them and we will actively recruit more veterans through the Career Transition Partnership and organisations such as BuildForce.”
