We’ve completed a new teaching block for Birmingham City Council
Interserve has completed the construction of a brand-new three storey teaching block for the DfE and Birmingham City Council.
The new teaching block, built for Colmers School and Sixth Form in Rednal, Birmingham, features a new drama room, gym, music rooms and general classrooms. The new building replaces a 1940s block that will eventually become a new car park for the school.
The development, one of several education projects won by Interserve last year, will help cater for 1,200 children across the school campus.
Simon Butler, Divisional Director at Interserve Construction, said:
“I am delighted that despite the challenges of the pandemic, we were able to deliver a high-quality new school building for Colmers School and Sixth Form, on time and on budget.”
