Tilbury Douglas completes construction of Euler Academy in Hull
Tilbury Douglas has successfully completed the design and construction of Euler Academy in Hull.
Part of Venn Academy Trust, which runs several schools in Hull, the brand-new specialist primary academy is for children aged 5-11 with a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Designed to be a nurturing and inclusive environment, the two-storey building has eight classrooms, a main hall, dining area, multi-use rooms, landscaped external play areas and a multi-use games area.
Euler Academy is the second of four specialist schools Tilbury Douglas is delivering in the region through the Department for Education (DfE) 2017 Construction Framework.
Paul Ellenor, Regional Director – Yorkshire at Tilbury Douglas, commented: “We are delighted to have been working with both the DfE and Venn Academy to deliver the Euler Academy project, building on our strong education portfolio within the Yorkshire region. The new school will provide improved specialist facilities for its children and an enhanced learning environment. The project created eight new construction related jobs in the local area and was delivered during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
