Tilbury Douglas has been appointed on the new DfE 2021 Construction Framework
Tilbury Douglas has been appointed on the new Department for Education (DfE) 2021 Construction Framework in all eight English lots in the Mid Value Band, with an anticipated spend of £1.8bn covering education-related projects from £6-12m.
Having successfully delivered on the current DfE 2017 Construction Framework, the company was ranked first place on all the Mid Value Band Lots on the new four-year framework.
As part of the current DfE Construction Framework 2017, Tilbury Douglas has been awarded 31 projects to date, worth approximately £240m. This included 18 Special Educational Needs Disability schools, nine Primary schools and four secondary schools.
Craig Tatton, Managing Director (UK Building) at Tilbury Douglas, commented: “Being on the new Framework is testament to the extensive experience within our team and our excellent track record in delivering some of the best educational facilities in the UK.
“Utilising the lessons learnt from our successes under the 2017 Framework, along with our drive for continuous improvement, puts us in an ideal position to focus on delivering high quality future net zero carbon educational projects across England whilst further developing our efficiency through digitised and standardised Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).”
