Tilbury Douglas named main contractor for Network Rail Houston Street Project

This month Tilbury Douglas began work on the refurbishment of Network Rail’s Houston Street offices in Glasgow.

The industrial warehouse with ancillary office accommodation is spread across two floors. The project will include the strip out of existing office facilities to allow refurbishment. In addition, new accommodation blocks will be formed within the existing warehouse floor to house sanitary facilities, charge stores and workshops.

Speaking about the project, Cameron Stewart, Scottish Regional Director at Tilbury Douglas, said: “We are delighted to be working with Network Rail on this exciting project.
