Tilbury Douglas Starts Work on New ‘Fetal Medicine Unit’

Tilbury Douglas has started work on a new ‘Fetal Medicine Unit’ (FMU) at Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust. The unit will provide screening services for pregnant women and will also specialise in care for those who have previously had a pregnancy with fetal abnormalities or have issues with their current pregnancy.

The enabling works will allow the Trust to upgrade their imaging department and provide a better service for patients. The works are set to be completed by the end of 2021.

The appointment of Tilbury Douglas comes after their successful completion of Liverpool Women’s Neonatal Unit in 2020.
