Tilbury Douglas welcomes visitors to construction sites as part of Open Doors week
Tilbury Douglas, a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering and fit-out business, welcomed hundreds of visitors to its construction sites as part of Open Doors week which ran from 18-22 March 2024.
Open Doors is an annual event run by Build UK where construction companies open up their sites to showcase the wide range of careers available in construction.
We opened the doors at the following sites:
- Arrowe Park Hospital
- Braidhurst Industrial Estate
- Brandon Unit Treatment Hub
- Caedmon Hall
- Catterick Integrated Care Campus
- Crownbridge School
- Derriford Hospital
- Great Yarmouth Operations and Maintenance Campus
- Hemel Hempstead School
- Oldham Old Library
- Prince Charles Hospital
- St Anne’s Bridge
- Stepping Hill Hospital
- T3 Birmingham office
- Warringtonfire
- Wednesfield Technology Primary School
At our Stepping Hill Hospital site, we were able to welcome children supported by the Bolton Sensory Support Service, which provides specialist support for the visually impaired.
At St Anne’s Bridge, the team welcomed staff and students from Broadstones School, a Department for Education registered independent special school which caters for learners that find traditional school settings problematic and find learning through vocational activities beneficial.
